A van crashed into a retainer wall at an on-ramp for Interstate 15 in Eastvale Wednesday, blocking the lanes.
The California Highway Patrol said the van ran into the wall on Cantu Galleano Ranch Road while entering southbound I-15 just after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
For unknown reasons, the van went out of control and plowed into the wall. The CHP indicated that a Costco big rig might have been involved, but the circumstances remained unclear.
There were no reports of injuries.
CHP officers shut down the on-ramp because of the crash. Motorists were being detoured around it on Cantu Galleano Ranch Road. A tow truck was en route to the location as of 1:50 p.m.
There was no word on when the ramp might be reopened.
