Six high school choirs from across the Coachella Valley will perform Yuletide carols and holiday songs during the “Sounds of Holidays” concert series next month at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway’s Mountain station.
All performances will be included with a regular tram admission, officials said.
The concert schedule is:
— La Quinta High School Chamber Singers on Dec. 3;
— Cathedral City High School Lions’ Pride Chamber Singer on Dec.4;
— Palm Springs High School Madrigral Choir on Dec. 7;
— Shadow Hills High School Chamber Singers on Dec. 10;
— Coachella Valley High School Concert Choir on Dec. 11; and
— Quartz Hill High School Chamber Singers and A Cappella Choir on Dec. 14.
Showtimes will be at 5 and 6:30 p.m. on the Pines Cafe stage, except for the Dec. 7 performance. The Madrigal choir will perform outside on the Desert View Terrace at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7 for the Tramway’s annual tree lighting ceremony.
