Authorities continued into their investigation Wednesday regarding the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old man in Indio.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired shortly after 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 47000 block of Dove Street, according to the Indio Police Department.
Upon arrival, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics rendered live-saving measures and he was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests were reported.
