First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis and various Los Angeles County officials will host a press conference Tuesday morning in downtown Los Angeles to provide updates on the storm system predicted to inundate Los Angeles County this week.
Solis, the chair of the board of supervisors, will hold the briefing at 10 a.m. in the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration’s Board Hearing Room 381B, 500 W. Temple St., according to a release from the supervisor’s office.
Those in attendance will hear updates on the flood watch, sandbag distribution sites, mud and debris flow forecasts, rain preparedness tips, road conditions and other related updates, Solis’ office said.
A Q&A with media will follow the press conference. Spanish remarks will follow and ASL interpretation will be provided.
