An at-risk 83-year-old woman who was reported missing after being last seen four days ago in Santa Monica, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert, has been located, police announced Friday.
Ana Lopez was last seen at 11 a.m. Monday near Pico Boulevard and Seventh Court, according to the California Highway Patrol.
She has since been located, according to the Santa Monica Police Department. Details about where or when she was found were not provided.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate searches for missing elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired people.
