Authorities sought the public’s assistance Monday in locating an at-risk 74-year-old woman with a mental health disorder last seen in Bellflower.
Jan Irene Sownie was last seen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in the 9300 block of Artesia Boulevard, between Clark and Virginia avenues, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Sownie was described as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall white woman weighing 145 pounds with auburn hair, brown eyes, a scar on her lower lip or chin area and glasses. It remains unclear what she was wearing when she was last seen.
