A fire at a three-story dorm at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont was knocked down about 35 minutes after being reported Wednesday evening.
Crews responded at about 7 p.m. Wednesday to the J.L. Atwood Residence Hall in the 1200 block of North Mills Avenue to reports of a fire in a room, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A knockdown was declared around 7:35 p.m., the department reported.
There were no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
