One person was killed in a three-vehicle collision in Placentia Wednesday evening involving a suspect being chased by Anaheim Police Department officers.
Officers with the Anaheim Police Department were conducting a ”law enforcement operation” around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday when the pursuit began, Sgt. Eric Anderson told City News Service.
CB2 LA reported the suspect drove into nearby Placentia where Anderson confirmed the pursuit ended at Bradford and Madison avenues, where the suspect’s vehicle collided with two other vehicles.
The victim was pronounced dead by personnel from the Placentia Fire and Life Safety Department.
California Highway Patrol personnel are at the scene, investigating the cause of the collision, a spokeswoman with its Irvine Communications Center told City News Service.
