Officers located evidence that a shooting occurred at a street takeover Saturday morning in Long Beach, authorities said.
No injuries were reported, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Officers dispatched to the area of Victoria Street and Long Beach Boulevard at 3:10 a.m. Saturday were told, while en route to the scene, that gunshots were also heard in the area, according to a police statement.
“Upon arrival, officers located evidence indicating a shooting occurred. No injuries were reported,” police said. “Evidence was collected. The suspect information and motive for the shooting are being investigated. The investigation is ongoing.”
No arrests were reported from the takeover.
