A 63-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to 14 years in prison for molesting three girls in Santa Ana dating back to 1996.
Bernardo Sandoval Soto pleaded guilty Nov. 4 to three felony counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child. As part of the plea bargain from prosecutors, 13 other felony sex counts were dismissed.
One of the girls was 6 years old when she was assaulted, another was about 4 or 5 years old and the third girl was about 10 or 11 years old, according to court records.
The years the girls were molested were 2000, 1998 and 1996, according to court records.
Soto, who met the victims through a woman he was dating, had credit for 3,237 days behind bars awaiting trial.
