Crews swiftly put out a non-injury fire Wednesday in a one-story home in Silver Lake.

The blaze was reported at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday at 733 N. Parkman Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The first-arriving companies encountered light smoke coming from the American Craftsman-style home, department spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.

The fire was put out in 13 minutes, she said.

The American Craftsman architectural style was popular in modest Southern California single-family homes from about 1905 to the 1930s.

Smaller versions are known as California bungalows.
