An 11-year-old non-verbal autistic girl has gone missing in Lynwood and investigators Tuesday asked for the public’s help in locating her.
Cherish Duhon was last seen at about 9:50 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of Carlin Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Duhon, who in addition to being non-verbal has an unspecified speech impediment, is Black, 5-feet-2 inches tall, weighs 109 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a white shirt with flowers, ripped blue jeans and pink Jordan-style Nike shoes, when she was last seen.
Anyone with information that could help reunited the child with her extremely worried family was urged to call the sheriff’s Century Station at 323-568-4800.
