Firefighters rescued a man Tuesday morning who was suffering from a medical issue and was stuck under a bridge over a flood channel in the Arleta area of Los Angeles.
The rescue occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at 13501 Osborne St. between Beachy and Arleta avenues, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The situation was not serious enough to warrant an air rescue so firefighters on the ground assisted the man over the fence and planned to assess his medical issue and take him to a hospital, Stewart said.
