A 26-year-old man who was fatally shot in Lynwood was identified Tuesday.
Deputies from the Century Sheriff’s Station were called about 1:30 a.m. Feb. 14 to the 5100 block of Imperial Highway, east of La Cienega Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The man was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, sheriff’s officials said.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the man Tuesday as Alexander Garcia, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
