A crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Saturday shut down traffic, caused buses to detour and injured people in the vehicles.
The crash occurred at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on PCH near Bonsall Drive, Lt. Jason Duron of the Lost Hills-Malibu Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.
One vehicle crossed over into lanes on the other side of the road, Duron said.
There were “serious injuries,” he said, although he didn’t know how many people were hurt.
PCH was closed for about 30 minutes while the wreckage was cleared, Duron said.
Metro detoured buses through the area until 5 p.m.
