A 38-year-old man who was fatally wounded during a stabbing in Lancaster was identified by county authorities Tuesday.
It was reported at 4:36 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East Lancaster Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responding to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon found the victim, identified as Jabril Williams by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, suffering from a stab wound, Sheriff’s Homicide Lt. Steve De Jong told reporters at the scene.
“There was some sort of altercation that took place,” De Jong said.
Williams was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
