A 44-year-old man killed in a hit-and-run crash in East Los Angeles was identified Tuesday.
California Highway Patrol officers were called to East Olympic Boulevard and Arizona Avenue at 11:02 p.m. Monday where they found a man lying on the ground with multiple vehicles nearby, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
He was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Guillermo Magallanes, who sustained blunt trauma.
Fox 11 reported three people in one vehicle stopped to examine the victim and then drove away. The CHP reported the victim might have been struck by multiple vehicles.
