The California Highway Patrol has activated a Silver Alert to help Los Angeles police locate a 77-year-old man missing from the Beverly Grove area.
Ren Jan Yu was last seen at about 4:15 p.m. Friday at West Third Street and La Cienega Boulevard, according to the CHP.
He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 112 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a long sleeved flannel, light-colored vest, light colored pants and dark colored shoes.
Anyone who sees Yu or knows where he is should call 911.
The CHP activates Silver Alerts to help locate missing, at-risk seniors or people with cognitive impairments like dementia.
