A 68-year-old man missing from Calimesa since early March has been found, the California Highway Patrol announced Friday.
Russell Woods had last been seen about 9 a.m. March 2 at Third Street and El Serene Lane, according to the CHP, which issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
The agency issued the alert after receiving a missing person notification shortly before 2:20 p.m. on March 5.
Details about when and where Woods was found were not provided.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicion disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled, or cognitively impaired individuals.
