Firefighters put out flames that engulfed a detached garage at a Pacoima house Saturday, preventing spread to the main house.
The fire was reported at 2:55 p.m. Saturday at 1375 W. Filmore St., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jamie Stewart.
The firefighters put out the flames within 19 minutes, Stewart said.
Two people were evaluated for injuries by LAFD paramedics but did not require hospitalization, he said.
