Police continued to investigate Thursday a possible murder-suicide of where two children and two adults were shot to death in North Hills Thursday evening.
Although a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman told City News Service she couldn’t confirm the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide, she did say there was no threat to the public and no known suspects, customarily an indication of a murder-suicide.
A neighbor who lives close by told Fox 11 News she heard police sirens earlier but was not aware of the family’s deaths. “It just breaks our hearts to hear four people are gone. It’s just heart breaking.”
Officers responded at approximately 7:50 p.m. Wednesday to the 16200 block of Londelius Street, near the intersection of Parthenia Street and Woodley Avenue, to reports of shots fired, police said.
