Police Thursday were trying to find an 80-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease last seen in the Westlake area near downtown Los Angeles.
Boonsin Phanichsiri, who has also been diagnosed with dementia and diabetes, was last seen in the 400 block of South Virgil Avenue, about two blocks from Shatto Park, around 5 p.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, which stated her family has not seen or heard from her since.
Phanichsiri is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information was urged to call the watch commander at the LAPD’s Olympic Station at 213-382-9102 or the Missing Persons Unit of the LAPD’s Detective Support and Vice Division at 213-996-1800.
