Firefighters responded to a big rig fire on a Sun Valley freeway Sunday.
The fire was reported about 5:30 p.m. Sunday on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway at San Fernando Road, according to the Los Angles Fire Department’s Jamie Stewart.
The department requested additional LAFD companies to respond “fore additional water supply,” according to Stewart.
The fire was not exposing any other vehicles or structures.
No injuries were immediately reported.
