Authorities are asking for the public’s help Friday in finding an at-risk 26-year-old man who went missing Thursday evening in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles.
Jose De Jesus Viramontes Jr. was last seen about 5:20 p.m. Thursday in the 12000 block of Wilmington Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Viramontes is described as a Hispanic man who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a grim reaper on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt with black letters, white basketball shorts and white shoes.
Investigators said Viramontes has a mental health condition, and his family is concerned for his well-being. Authorities believe he may be headed toward the 9500 block of California Avenue in South Gate.
