A 71-year-old man who was the subject of a Silver Alert after he was last seen in the Westlake district was found Monday, prompting cancellation of the alert.
Details about when or where Byoung Lim was found were not provided.
Lim had last been seen at about 5 p.m. Friday near Lucas Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly or developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at-risk to help them be recovered more quickly.
