A multiple-vehicle rollover crash shut down northbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles during the morning commute Thursday, but no one was seriously injured.
The crash was reported about 7:25 a.m. near Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Four people were freed from a vehicle that overturned, according to the CHP. Two vehicles wound up on their side as a result of the crash.
A total of five patients were assessed at the scene, but all declined to be taken to a hospital.
The crash and emergency response shut down all northbound freeway lanes until about 8 a.m., when all lanes were reopened, but by then northbound traffic on the 405 Freeway was backed up to the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway.
