A man was killed and two women were injured in a two-vehicle crash in the Alamitos Heights community of Long Beach, authorities said Sunday.
The crash occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5700 block of Pacific Coast Highway, near Bellflower Boulevard, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
“The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle traveling westbound on Pacific Coast Highway struck another vehicle exiting a shopping center,” according to a police statement. “Fire personnel arrived at the scene and transported a male adult to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.”
Paramedics also rushed two women to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately clear.
