Two elderly people were extricated and rushed to a hospital Saturday after a single-vehicle crash in Desert Center.
The crash was reported around 11:10 a.m. Saturday on state Route 177, north of the Redlands (10) Freeway, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.
One of the victims suffered major injuries and one suffered moderate injuries, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. They were rushed to a hospital by helicopter.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
