The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped four-tenths of a cent Friday to $3.728, its lowest amount since Feb. 12.
The average price has decreased 19 consecutive days and 75 of the past 81, dropping 45.1 cents, including seven-tenths of a cent on Thursday.
The average price is 3.6 cents less than one week ago, 11.6 cents lower than one month ago and 25.3 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The Orange County average price dropped nine-tenths of a cent today to $3.696, its lowest amount since Feb. 10. The average price has dropped for 18 consecutive days and is 3.2 cents less than one week ago, 11.8 cents lower than one month ago and 25.1 cents below what it was one year ago.
