Hours before Hillary Clinton depicted Donald Trump as a bigot, she tweeted her support for SNL star Leslie Jones — whose hacking has been called racist.
Joining the #StandWithLeslie campaign are New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and stars including Katy Perry and Ellen DeGeneres.
This all comes as Homeland Security begins looking into the hacks Jones’ personal accounts, briefly exposing nude photos, her driver’s license and passport photos.
As NBC News quoted the agency as saying: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in New York has an open investigation into this matter. As a matter of agency policy, we are unable to disclose any details related to an active investigation.”
Contrary to other reports, the FBI isn’t involved.
But celebs are.
