A woman said to be in her late 50s was found dead Monday when sheriffs deputies went to a home in East Los Angeles on a welfare check requested by a family member.
The body was found about 11:45 a.m. lying face down in a home in the 100 block of North Gage Avenue, according to sheriff’s deputies.
ABC7 reported that at least one person had heard arguing coming from the house.
An autopsy will be performed by the coroner’s office to determine the cause of death.
