A man and a woman were fatally shot Friday in an unincorporated area near Carson.
Both victims were found around 5 p.m. about three blocks apart, according to Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The woman was found at the intersection of Alondra and Avalon boulevards and was pronounced dead at a hospital, Rouzan said.
The man was found at the intersection of 154th and San Pedro streets and pronounced dead at the scene, according to Rouzan.
He was inside a vehicle, according to KCAL9.
“It is unknown at this time if the two incidents are related,” Rouzan said.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau were dispatched to investigate the killings.
