A woman in the Valley Glen area near North Hollywood was shot Monday morning, possibly by an ex-boyfriend, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 13100 block of Vanowen Street at 2:45 a.m., said Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman of the Media Relations office.
Eisenman said the woman’s ex-boyfriend was a suspect. The victim, whose name was unavailable, was said to be hospitalized with stable vital signs.
Officers set up a perimeter around the apartment complex in hopes of catching the suspect but did not find him.
