A man was robbed in front of his Yorba Linda home by thieves who took from him a large amount of cash and his cell phone, police said Wednesday.
The victim was approached by four male suspects as he returned home around 9:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 20000 block of Channing Lane, said Lt. Matthew Stiverson of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
One of the robbers was armed with a gun and demanded the man’s property, Stiverson said.
The robbers — Stiverson said they wore hoods and baseball caps — took off with the cash and the phone in what was believed to be a silver sedan, he said. The victim was not hurt.
