A man was shot to death in Bell, authorities said Sunday.
The shooting was reported at 10:46 p.m. Saturday in the 5100 block of Gage Avenue, Deputy Wally Bracks of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower body, Bracks said. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate the circumstances of the shooting, she said. There was no known motive for the crime or suspect description as the investigation continued.
