Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and two other motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving drug impaired at an overnight checkpoint in Inglewood, a police sergeant said Sunday.
Also, 31 drivers were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while on a suspended or revoked license, said Inglewood police Sgt. Jeff LaGreek. Officers also issued 31 citations at the checkpoint.
It was located on Crenshaw Boulevard at 116th Street and began at 8 p.m. Saturday and ended Sunday at 3 a.m., LaGreek said.
