Traffic and parking on seven Torrance streets will be altered Monday for slurry seal operations, authorities said.
The following streets will be affected between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Torrance Public Works Department officials said:
On Arlington Avenue between Post Avenue and Carson Street parking will be prohibited, but through traffic will be allowed; Post Avenue between Cota and Cravens avenues will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited; Marcelina Avenue between Cabrillo and Arlington avenues will see the westbound lane closed to traffic and parking prohibited; Watson Avenue between Carson and 218th streets will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited; 218th Street between Manuel and Arlington avenues will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited; Martina Avenue from Carson to 220th streets will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited; 222nd Street from Martina to Arlington avenues will be closed to traffic and parking will be prohibited.
