Walmart associates, in collaboration with Catholic Charities San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, gave away 100 Thanksgiving meal boxes Saturday during their Giving Harvest event.
The event was intended to support local families and was held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Saint Oscar Romero Parish in Eastvale.
“The Giving Harvest is designed to held ease the strain many households feel during the holiday season by providing nutritious meals and creating a welcoming space for neighbors to come together,” event officials said.
Various community resources also set up tables and spoke with people at the event, including the Riverside County Fire Department.
