A 61-year-old woman who was killed in a wrong-way crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Arcadia was identified Thursday.
The crash was reported at 2:55 a.m. Monday on the eastbound Foothill Freeway at Baldwin Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Arcadia Fire Department pronounced one person dead at the scene, a CHP officer said.
The woman was identified Thursday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Kellie Higham.
Higham was believed to be behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry being driven the wrong way on the freeway, slamming into a Toyota Corolla, the driver of which suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
It was unclear why the motorist was on the wrong side of the freeway.
