Authorities Sunday continued investigating a single-vehicle crash in Riverside in which an electric car crashed into a home.
The crash was reported at 9:07 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Trautwein Road and Grove Community Drive, according to the Riverside Fire Department. Responding firefighters found that the vehicle apparently drove through a block wall and an exterior wall of the residence.
Six residents were evacuated from the home, but none was injured, according to the fire department.
The driver of the vehicle was the sole occupant and was rushed to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The house was evaluated for structural damage and the car was towed out of the residence.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
