Three people were rescued Thursday by firefighters after a vehicle went over an embankment near the lower parking lot at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
The rescue was reported around 10 a.m. Thursday at One Tram Way, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.
“One vehicle went over a steep dirt embankment near the lower parking lot at the tram station. We utilized rescue systems to haul a patient to safety,” the agency stated.
One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and two other people did not sustain any injuries.
The circumstances behind the incident were not immediately available.
