Act for Multiple Sclerosis, a nonprofit that offers free services to Coachella Valley residents living with MS, will host its fourth annual charity golf tournament next month at Palm Valley Country Club in Palm Desert.
The event, set for noon Feb. 16 at the club at 39205 Palm Valley Drive, will include a silent auction, dinner, and live entertainment by the John Stanley King Band. Non-golfers are welcome to attend dinner and entertainment.
The tournament will begin with a shotgun scramble at noon.
Act for MS provides programs to improve quality of life for those with the incurable condition, including strength training, cardiovascular programs, therapeutic and flexible massage, adaptive yoga, educational seminars, assistance with mobility equipment and a summer utility assistance program, officials said.
