A woman riding a bicycle was killed Saturday in a collision with a vehicle in the unincorporated Woodcrest area south of Riverside.
The crash was reported at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at Krameria Avenue and Reiner Circle, according to the California Highway Patrol, which was investigating in the residential neighborhood.
The woman was taken to a hospital by ambulance with major injuries and died there, the CHP stated when it reported the crash as a fatality. Her name and age were not disclosed.
It was unclear if the motorist remained at the scene, as required by law.
