An at-risk 3-year-old boy, along with a 29-year-old woman, were reported missing after last being seen in South Los Angeles Thursday, prompting the issuance of an Endangered Missing Advisory.

Eavien Rodriguez Castellanos and Joanna Rodriguez were last spotted at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday near 46th Street and St. Andrews Place, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The relationship between the two victims, if any, remains unknown.

Detectives identified the suspect in the missing persons case as a 40-year-old man who is 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 200 pounds, and was last seen wearing a beige jacket and white shirt.

Eavien was described as a 3-year-old boy with black hair and brown eyes, while Joanna was identified as a 5-foot-2-inch-tall woman weighing 196 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The vehicle the victims are believed to be traveling in is a white Toyota 4Runner.
