The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County recorded its largest increase since Oct. 31 Wednesday, rising 7.7 cents to $4.801, its highest amount since Nov. 19.
The average price has risen 13 of the past 14 days, increasing 18.2 cents, including 2.4 cents Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 12 cents more than one week ago, 35.3 cents more than one month ago and 5.9 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.693 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price also recorded its largest increase since Oct. 31, rising 7.8 cents to $4.749, its highest amount since Nov. 18. It has increased 35 consecutive days, rising 50.6 cents, including 2.1 cents Tuesday.
The Orange County average price is 12.4 cents more than one week ago, 39.1 cents more than one month ago and 4.1 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.71 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose 8.9 cents to $3.198, its highest amount since Sept. 19. It has risen four consecutive days, increasing 21.6 cents, including 11.2 cents Tuesday.
The national average price is 22.3 cents more than one week ago, 31.1 cents more than one month ago and 9.9 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.818 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
