A person was killed and another person was critically injured Sunday morning during a three-vehicle crash on the Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, where a vehicle overturned and caught fire, authorities said.

The crashed occurred at 1:50 a.m. on the northbound freeway at the Third Street onramp, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Firefighters and paramedics dispatched to the location pronounced one person dead at the scene and rushed another person, in critical condition, to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A SigAlert was issued at 2:21 a.m. closing all lanes of the northbound freeway at West Sixth Street, the CHP said.

There was no other immediate information available.
