A big rig fire snarled traffic on the Foothill (210) Freeway near Altadena Thursday, but no one was injured.
The fire was reported about 10:55 a.m. Thursday on the westbound side of the freeway west of Arroyo Boulevard in the Altadena area, near Pasadena.
One lane was reopened around 11:20 a.m. and another 20 minutes after that, but two lanes remained closed for hours and traffic was backed up to Mountain Street while crews worked to remove the burned big rig.
