More than 700 Southern California Edison customers in Rancho Mirage lost power Wednesday.
The outage was reported at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday, affecting customers in the area of Frank Sinatra Drive, according to the agency’s website.
An SCE representative told City News Service there were 4,395 customers initially affected by the power outage but crews were able to quickly reduce that number to about 750.
The cause of the outage was not immediately known. SCE officials said power was expected to be restored by about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
