Presley Gerber, the only son of model Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, died at a rehab facility Sunday at the age of 27.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed his death, according to reports by TMZ. The cause and additional details were not immediately disclosed.
The young man was a model like his mother and his sister, Kaia Jordan Gerber. Representatives for his family told TMZ that they are ”asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”
Gerber had been charged with DUI in 2019. People reported that he had discussed several depressant medications he was on, including Buprenorphine, Xanax and Valium, to treat his ”panic attacks,” in a since-deleted Instagram video posted in December 2025.
”Having struggled with mental health, depression and some other things that come along with that, I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that’s all I need to do,” Berger said on the Studio 22 podcast.
