Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was fatally shot in Compton and whose killer remains at large.
The shooting was reported around 5:10 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of North Alameda Street, between Compton Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Jose Valencia, 33, of Compton died at a hospital, the coroner’s office reported.
